The Foundation’s Path to Pro program offers free education, hands-on training and certifications for youth, separating military service members and underserved communities.

MILITARY
PROGRAM

In 2018, The Home Depot Foundation and Home Builders Institute (HBI) launched its joint, 12-week trades training program for separating military members. The program provides industry-recognized PACT and OSHA 10 certifications.

HIGH SCHOOL
PROGRAM

In 2019, The Home Depot Foundation and HBI expanded its trades training program into high schools across the nation. The two-year program is offered to 11th and 12th grade students and provides PACT certification.

YOUTH
PROGRAM

In 2018, The Home Depot Foundation and Construction Education Foundation of Georgia (CEFGA) joined forces to introduce Construction Ready Plus — an advanced level trades training program. In 2020, both organizations extended their partnership to The Marcus Foundation and The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation to begin a K12 trades training program for youth in Georgia.

ACADEMY
PROGRAMS

In 2020, The Home Depot Foundation and HBI established a community-based education model in Denver, CO and Orlando, FL to help train and certify high school and adult populations.
